Etravirine now in 200mg tablets

The antiretroviral etravirine (Intelence) is now available as 200mg tablets. (It was previously formulated only as 100mg tablets.) Manufacturer Janssen says the new tablet strength will reduce the pill burden from four to two per day. Both strengths can be taken dispersed in a glass of water.

Janssen has also recently launched a YouTube channel to mark its 30 years of involvement in developing treatments for HIV. Janssen in HIV (www.youtube.com/jansseninhiv<http://www.youtube.com/jansseninhiv) includes interviews with people living with HIV and invites people personally or professionally affected by HIV to share their experiences.
