Female urethral diverticulectomy: a new surgical approach

The authors review the different surgical approaches used for treatment of urethral diverticulum in women before describing an easy method for complete excision. This technique should help to avoid the difficulties in identifying the walls and hence decrease the risk of complications related to dissection, such as incontinence or fistula formation.
