7. Sorting out genital ulceration

Authors

Chris Sonnex

Abstract

Genital herpes is the commonest cause of genital ulceration in the UK, but other, less common causes, such as syphilis or fixed drug eruption, should be excluded. Dr Sonnex provides an overview of genital ulceration relevant to primary care and outlines approaches to management. Copyright © 2007 Wiley Interface Ltd
