Abstract

With HIV‐infected patients living longer since the introduction of antiretroviral therapy, the emphasis now is on improving adherence and reducing the toxicities and side‐effects associated with long‐term treatment. Other developments include new guidance on post‐exposure prophylaxis and treatment of patients co‐infected with HIV and hepatitis C. Copyright © 2007 Wiley Interface Ltd
