Management of thyroid disorders in pregnancy

Authors

A.P. Weetman

Abstract

Thyroid function abnormalities are common in pregnancy. Both hypothyroidism and thyrotoxicosis can affect the fetus and alter obstetric outcome, while pregnancy itself has important effects on thyroid function.
