Cervical schistosomiasis infection in a woman with an abnormal smear
Authors
Abstract
The authors present a case history of a Caucasian woman who was found to have cervical schistosomiasis on histology following investigations for an abnormal cervical smear. This case highlights the importance of taking a history of foreign travel, particularly as travel to endemic areas is becoming increasingly common. Copyright © 2008 Wiley Interface Ltd
