Female urethral diverticula

The aetiology of female urethral diverticulum is poorly understood and the clinical presentation variable, mimicking various urinary and genital tract conditions. This can lead to a significant delay between presentation and diagnosis. The diagnosis can be difficult to make, often requiring multiple investigations. However, once identified, surgical intervention can provide symptomatic relief with good long‐term outcomes.
